The count down is on......

Today marks 11 weeks until my due date, but I am thinking (with no specific reason) I will deliver about a week early. I have been feeling beyond great these past few weeks, but I still think she (peanut) will arrive a little earlier then scheduled. She tends to be a jabber and a mover. Peanut and her dad love to push each other back and forth every morning. As much as my grouchy morning side comes out, I don't think there could be a better feeling then my husband and daughter already playing together.

For the past couple months I have been taking up hiking. I have had a few envious moments when I see people riding by me on their mountain bikes, but I am so thankful that hiking agrees with me. So far I have been hiking at least 4-5x a week for 45minutes to over an hour. I have picked up a few hiking partners along the way: My wonderful and patience husband, my dad (my number one fan), my mom who has been a great trooper, my cousin Corey who keeps my pace up till the end, and my uncle Mike and aunt Clocky. Thank you all for helping little peanut and myself stay in shape. Don't think I will be stopping after she arrives, this is just the beginning. I have spoiled her by bouncing her to relaxation almost everyday in the womb, so I know she will want to continue, and that goes for my hiking buddies.

Other then feeling great and continuing to exercise, I have been getting the nursery ready for the big day. So far, (thanks to my mom for getting my butt in gear) I have ordered a crib and dresser, and spent a few hours in babies r us learning all about the necessities of a newborn.
I hope everyone is doing well and I will continue to update as I count down the weeks.

My 33rd Birthday.....

This birthday was as nice as every other one. I spent the day relaxing and of course I did a little exercise. My dad and I went on a great one hour hike, I got my toes done (which little peanut loved the massage chair. She fell asleep) and then I finished the day at Del Mar with the family. The second photo was taken when I first arrived at 5pm. The first photo was taken 10 minutes later. As you probably guessed, we left about 45 minutes later.
We still had a great time.
