Mommy and Daddy's Favorite picture.....

Sierra looking mighty photogenic

First trip to the zoo........

My girlfriend Dana was going to take her 3 year old to the zoo, and ask if I wanted to go and being somewhat adventurous, Sierra and I went along. I told myself that that only way to know if Sierra will like something, is to try it and so we went to the San Diego Zoo today for the first time.

Even though she had no clue we were at the zoo, all in all she did a great job. I did not take a lot of pictures, because I figured when she had more reaction to the zoo, I will take tons of photos. Here is a photo of Sierra in her stroller and her buddy Aiden in his. The last photo is Sierra after her 2 hour adventure to the zoo.

I want to thank Dana for allowing Sierra and I to adventure with her and Aiden today.

Fathers Day...........

Unfortunately John had to work on his first fathers day, but he did get to spend some time with Sierra when he got home from work, which was great.

So this year Sierra and I spent Fathers day with Grandpa. As usual, I started the morning with taking my dad on a run and then a swim, then breakfast with Bubba, Brady and Nana. It was a wonderful morning, and I love having Sierra spend time with her grandparents.

Here are a few pictures of Grandpa and his two grandkids.

playing around with the camera..........

The time is flying bye........

Everyone says that the time goes by fast when you have a little one, and boy are they right. Sierra is going to be 10 weeks on Friday. She is getting so big and so full of life. She now coos and smiles and her newest thing is the pirate grrrrrr. I will grrrrrr and her and she grrrrrr"s right back at me. I think she is holding a conversation with me, but in her own way.

We went to the doctors last week and she is now 11lbs 7oz. She is above 50% in both height and weight.

We have had a busy week. On Monday we went down to my friend Jenny and Peter's to meet their little boy Hunter. Hunter is 6 weeks younger then Sierra, but you can already tell the two of them are going to be good buds.

I also had some fun playing around with the camera, so some of these pictures are just for fun. Yes, you will notice a bow in her hair ( I could not resist) she did not seem to mind it.

This also was the first week that Sierra got to go to work with me. I went back this week to help out, and Sierra was such a good girl for me, a slight distraction to the clients, but in a good way.

Blessed with great Nana's

We are so blessed that Sierra has wonderful grandparents. We could not ask for her to be more loved. My mom has been wonderful to us. She is Sierra's nanny/Nana while I am back working part time, and the have a blast as you can see in the picture above. We can't thank her enough for watching our little peanut.

Johns mom and PopPop coach came down from Santa Rosa to meet their granddaughter and we had a wonderful visit with them. Sierra was full of Nana love that day.

She also had spent time with CoCo and her auntie Clocky the other evening while I worked and John ran some errands. You would never be able to tell that Sierra is so loved and well looked after.

On Monday we have our 2 month doctors appointment which I am truly dreading. This is the day that Sierra gets her first set of shots. I don't know if it will hurt her or me more. I hope it goes smoothly and that she takes those shoots like a champ.

Everything else is going great. Knock on wood, but Sierra slept 8 hours two nights in a row. She is full of smiles and really getting a little personality. We love her more and more everyday and look forward to all that life brings us.

Papa on his Mtn Bike Trip.....

Sierra at 7 weeks...

Another week has flown bye, and our Little Sierra is now 7 weeks old. We had a visit from Auntie Katie, which was wonderful. We want to thank Mrs. Grigsby for the super cute headband for Sierra. I am just now comfortable dressing up Sierra, and I think it is because she is now letting me.

We had family dinner at my parents house and Nana and Grandpa got a great photo moment with their two grandchildren.

Papa got to go on a short Mtn bike trip with his friend Matt. Here are a few photos of Annadel State park and other trails in Sonoma county. Next year you will see Mama in the photos as well.
